1. Our commitment to the planet
At Justroo, we’re all about giving tech a second life. But when tech really reaches the end of its road, it needs to be recycled properly. That’s where the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) Regulations come in.
2. Our “Take-Back” Scheme
If you buy a new (refurbished) piece of tech from us, we’ll take back your old equivalent item for free and recycle it for you.
- You have 28 days from your purchase to get it to us.
- It must be a “like-for-like” item (e.g., if you bought a laptop, you can return a laptop).
3. How to return your old tech
Just email us at legal@justroo.com and we’ll give you instructions on how to send your old device to our recycling centre. Please make sure you wipe all your personal data first!
4. Waste Batteries
Don’t throw batteries in the bin! You can return waste portable batteries to us in person, or find your local recycling point at www.recycle-more.co.uk.
5. The Crossed-Out Bin Symbol
You’ll see this symbol on most tech. It’s a reminder that it shouldn’t end up in your household waste. Let’s keep the planet clean together.
