Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 4 April 2026

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the relationship between Justroo (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and the customer (“you”, “your”) regarding the purchase of goods through our website, justroo.com.

Justroo is a subsidiary of Ivx, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 17080224.

By accessing our website and placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before completing any transaction.

1. Introduction and Information About Us

1.1. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to purchases you make from Justroo on justroo.com.

1.2. Justroo is an e-commerce platform specialising in the sale of professionally refurbished electronic equipment, including (without limitation) laptops, desktops, monitors, smartphones, and tablets from brands such as Apple, HP, Lenovo, and Dell.

1.3. Justroo is a subsidiary of Ivx, a company registered in England and Wales under company registration number 17080224.

1.4. These Terms are written in plain English. If you have any questions (including legal or compliance queries), please contact us via our website or email legal@justroo.com before placing your order.

2. Contract Formation

2.1. To place an order, you must be at least 18 years old and have a valid payment method.

2.2. Our website shows our products and prices, but this is an invitation for you to place an order, not an offer by us.

2.3. When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy the goods.

2.4. You will receive an order acknowledgement email. This does not mean we have accepted your order.

2.5. A contract is formed only when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched (or otherwise confirm acceptance of your order in writing).

2.6. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if:
(a) the item is out of stock;
(b) there is a pricing or description error; or
(c) we suspect fraud or unauthorised or illegal activity.
If we cancel, we will refund any amounts you have paid for that order.

3. Product Condition and Description

3.1. Justroo specialises in refurbished goods. These items are not “new” and may have been previously owned.
3.2. All products undergo professional testing and restoration. However, they may show signs of previous use, such as minor cosmetic wear, unless otherwise specified in the product grade.
3.3. Images on the website are for illustrative purposes. While we strive for accuracy, the actual product may vary slightly in appearance.

4. Pricing & Payment

4.1. Prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (£) and include VAT (where applicable).

4.2. Delivery charges (if any) will be shown at checkout before you pay.

4.3. Payment must be made in full at the time you place your order using our available payment methods at checkout.

4.4. We try to make sure all prices are correct. If we discover an obvious pricing error, we may contact you and give you the option to:
(a) confirm your order at the correct price; or
(b) cancel your order for a full refund.
If we cannot contact you, we may cancel the order and refund you.

4.5. If your payment is declined or reversed after dispatch, you must pay us the amount due immediately. We may also take reasonable steps to recover the goods or the unpaid amount.

5. Delivery

5.1. We offer free delivery on most items within mainland United Kingdom. Any delivery charges for specific items or locations will be clearly displayed at the checkout.

5.2. Delivery dates and times are estimates only. We are not responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control (including courier delays).

5.3. If we need more information from you to deliver your order (for example, an address clarification), you must provide it as soon as possible.

5.4. Risk passes to you when the goods are delivered to the delivery address you provided.

5.5. Ownership of the goods passes to you when we have received full payment for them.

6. Cancellation Rights (14 days) and Returns

6.1. If you are a consumer, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.

6.2. The cancellation period ends 14 days after the day you (or someone you nominate) receives the goods.

6.3. To cancel, you must tell us clearly (for example, via email or a message through our website). Please include your order number. You can use the Model Cancellation Form in the Consumer Contracts Regulations, but you do not have to.

6.4. After you tell us you want to cancel, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

6.5. You must take reasonable care of the goods while you have them. If the goods are returned with handling beyond what is necessary to check them (as you would in a shop), we may reduce your refund to reflect any loss in value.

6.6. Return costs:
(a) If you cancel because you have changed your mind, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
(b) If the goods are faulty or misdescribed, we will reimburse reasonable return costs (or provide a return method).

6.7. Refunds:
(a) If you cancel, we will refund the price you paid for the goods and the standard delivery charge (if any) within 14 days of the earlier of: (i) receiving the goods back, or (ii) you providing evidence you have sent them back.
(b) We will make the refund using the same payment method you used, unless we agree otherwise.
(c) We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods back or you provide evidence of return.

7. Warranty

7.1. All hardware sold by Justroo comes with a standard warranty, the duration of which is specified on the product page.
7.2. This warranty covers hardware defects and malfunctions. It does not cover:

  • Accidental damage.
  • Software issues or virus infections.
  • Battery life (as batteries are consumable items, though we guarantee a functional minimum capacity at the time of sale).
  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications.
7.3. In the event of a valid warranty claim, we will, at our discretion, repair the item, provide a replacement of equivalent specification, or issue a refund.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for:
(a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
(b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
(c) any other liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

8.2. If you are a consumer, we are responsible to you for foreseeable loss and damage caused by us. We are not responsible for loss or damage that is not foreseeable.

8.3. We do not accept liability for business losses. If you use the goods for any commercial, business or re-sale purpose, we will not be liable for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

8.4. Subject to clauses 8.1 to 8.3, our total liability to you for any claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount you paid for the goods in that order.

8.5. We are not liable for:
(a) loss of data (you should back up your data before use and before returning any device);
(b) delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example courier disruption).

9. Data Protection

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR). By using our site, you consent to the processing of your data as described therein.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on justroo.com, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Justroo or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce or use this content without express written permission or licence.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. The version of the Terms in effect at the time of your purchase will apply to your contract.
